Always passed by this cute little restaurant by Nolita, and finally give it a try. Their premium beef burger were quite famous, especially the 'bronte". I am not really a burger lover, so i choose shrimp pasta $14, and Chin chose creamy chicken pasta $13. The restaurant are quite small but cozy. Oh boy, i was shocked when i saw the kitchen.. It was literally the smallest kitchen i ever saw in a restaurant, yet the food are so good! Both of our pasta were surprisingly creamy and full of flavor! Definitely will come back for the same pasta dishes :)

ARIA WINE BAR. Beautiful light settings happening before you entered the restaurant which make me so happy already. Small, cozy, and lovely interiors. Wine bar will be my ideal Friday dinner date, simply because i love to enjoy a cup of wine with small plates of foods, and release my work stress over the dinner. Except the fact that I can't take strong alcohol drink because it will knock me down within a minute! LOL
For drink, I ordered Seven Sister Rose $6. Appetizer - Grilled octopus salad, so amazingggg! I ordered clam linguine for entree, and Chin ordered wild mushroom truffle pasta(because i want to try it too :D). Although the pasta portion was not big, but it is a right amount for me, and they are both delicious.
The only thing i dislike? The fact that they serve wine with a shot glass :(
Well, not really a big deal for me because the food is tasty enough for me to come back again.

EATS IN NYC. Ever since i knew there is a place that sell freshly made churros with dipping chocolate, i been waiting to give it a try! La Churreria located at the heart of Soho, that served delicious sandwich, tapas, salad and of cause the signature churros, including stuffed churros with different flavor. The store itself is a bit small, but lovely. We went on a sunday noon, ordering one "Pepito Sevillano" sandwich $10 to share which is marinated steak with onion& peppers. Oh so delicious, and it came with home made potato chips! Love the bread! Then we got churros for one $6 that include 6 pieces of fresh churros and one cup of dipping chocolate. So yummy i wish we ordered 12 pieces instead! I was so excited when the churros came, and i remembered to took photo with my phone, but not my camera :D #failed.

NYC EATS. Went to Essex once long time ago, and recently been going back twice within 2 weeks due to the 20% offer via Groupon Reserve. Essex was known for their brunch special of $23.95 with three different alcohol drinks, and also the amazing happy hours from 4-8pm - $1 oyster and half off drinks! Usually we order a drink with 6 oysters each, and then mussels with fries and we will be happily satisfied :) And their catfish & shrimp is delicious as well.

RESTAURANT WEEK LUNCH. Twice per year's restaurant week is back! Actually, it already began from July 22 - August 16th. One at summer, and another one at winter. Same price, $25 lunch, and $38 for dinner. Have to say,
naugatine by jean george is by far the most delicious i have tried among all during restaurant week. Actually, Megu, Morimoto and JoJo is not bad too. While Chin is ordering from the $25 restaurant week menu, i choose lunch prix-fix and it is $32. The only difference is that i got to have fried calamari as appetizer, and his is radish salad, which is amazing as well. For entree, he have crispy chicken, and mine is roasted chicken. Both taste delicioussss. The exciting part is dessert - chocolate lave cake, with just the right amount of sweetness. Oh boy, i miss it!
